With the official launch of the H2 Valley Facility, the European Union is structuring its offensive for a green hydrogen economy rooted in local areas. The €12.5 million initiative is designed to support regional projects right through to the final investment decision. Technical assistance, legal support, financial engineering: everything is being mobilised to help 50 valleys emerge by 2030. Behind this drive is a clear determination to translate energy sovereignty into concrete, local, interconnected projects. Hydrogen is no longer an ambition – it’s a policy in motion.
